Located in Central America, Guatemala has terrestrial borders with México, El Salvador, and Honduras, and seaports in the Pacific and Atlantic Oceans.  Recently, our country has signed the Central American Free Trade Agreement (CAFTA) with the United States of America.  This treaty opens a lot of markets to Guatemala, and we have abundant manageable forests to be competitive at a world wide level.
